Team of the Month: RFME

Over the last years, the support of the Real Federación Motociclista Española has been key for the development of a whole generation of Spanish riders such as Jorge Prado, Ruben Fernandez who compete at the top of MXGP.

The work done by the Spanish federation was rewarded when the Spanish Team came out victorious of the Women’s Motocross of European Championship in Talavera de la Reina, which perfectly ended a successful season Spanish motocross. Creating the Junior and WMX Team, the RFME is building a project that Team Manager Paco Rico, explains to work as kind of an “academy” with the goal of bringing many more young Spanish talents into the MXGP and MX2 classes as well as WMX.

The future of Spain in motocross seems to be in good hands as we already witness many talents performing at the highest level with the likes of Jorge Prado, Ruben Fernandez, Daniela Guillen, Jose Butron and David Braceras to name a few.
