FANTIC REVEALS FULL 2025 FACTORY RACING LINE-UP AT EICMA

The Fantic Motor stand at EICMA in Milan, the International Two-Wheel Exhibition, provided the ideal stage to introduce the Fantic Racing teams for the upcoming season, as the Italian brand gears up for the exciting adventures ahead.

A three-rider MXGP powerhouse featuring “Bona” alongside Coldenhoff and Bogers

Bellei to join Fantic Factory Racing EMX, while Mancini steps up to EMX250

With the signing of Andrea Bonacorsi already confirmed, Fantic reinforces its commitment to the FIM Motocross World Championship by fielding three Factory XXF 450 in 2025. The 21-year-old Italian, who claimed the EMX125 title on the Fantic XX 125 in 2020, joins Brian Bogers and Glenn Coldenhoff in the Fantic Factory Racing MXGP team, led by Louis Vosters.

Alongside its top-tier MXGP line-up, Fantic is renewing its commitment to nurturing young talent, as Francesco Bellei joins the Fantic Factory Racing EMX team. Italian champion and fourth overall in the 2024 EMX125 European Championship, the 15-year-old Italian is ready to jump on the Fantic XX 125, the bike that dominated the field in 2024. Alongside new recruit Bellei, the team retains Belgian rider Douwe Van Mechgelen.

Fantic is equally pleased to announce that Simone Mancini will continue his journey with the Italian brand and its official EMX team led by Daniele Marchese. The Junior Vice World Champion and EMX125 bronze medalist will advance to the EMX250 European Championship in 2025. Following his impressive debut on the Fantic XXF 250, capped with a podium finish at the final round of the Italian Pro Prestige MX2 Championship, the 17-year-old is ready for the next stage in his promising career.

Simone Mancini:
“I am very happy to continue with Fantic and spend another year working with a team I already know well. I have really enjoyed my time with them, I have a great relationship with everyone, and I am excited to start this second season with what I can truly call my Fantic family. I recently got on the XXF 250, and my first impressions are very positive—I can’t wait to start winter training. We still have a lot to improve, and we will be working hard to see what we can achieve in my debut season in the EMX250 European Championship.”

Francesco Bellei:
“I am very happy and proud to join the official Fantic team for the 2025 season. My focus will be on improving even further in the European EMX125 Championship, especially my performance on sand tracks. I can’t wait to start training on the new bike! I would like to thank everyone who has supported me so far—the FMI, Fiamme Oro, my family, and especially my dad. And, of course, thank you to Fantic for this fantastic opportunity!”

YAMAHA MOTOR EUROPE & MJC YAMAHA OFFICIAL EMX125 TEAM ANNOUNCE EXCITING FOUR-RIDER LINE-UP FOR 2025 EMX125 CHAMPIONSHIP

Yamaha Motor Europe and the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team are thrilled to reveal their powerhouse four-rider line-up for the 2025 EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Championship. The team will retain its talented trio of riders—Dutch sensation Dani Heitink, French rising star Mano Faure, and Belgian standout Jarne Bervoets—while also welcoming the reigning Junior Motocross 85cc World Champion, Levi Townley, from New Zealand.

Dani Heitink had a breakout rookie season in the EMX125 class, scoring two impressive race wins and four top-five finishes. The young Dutchman has set his sights on an even stronger performance in 2025, aiming to challenge for the championship title.

Mano Faure burst onto the scene with a podium finish at the opening round of 2024 in Sardinia, demonstrating his potential early on. Despite a season-ending injury in May, Faure secured five top-five finishes and two podiums and is eager to bounce back stronger in 2025 to fight for the crown.

Belgium’s Jarne Bervoets faced his share of challenges in his rookie season but still managed to score seven top-10 finishes while battling injuries. Now fully recovered, Bervoets is ready to hit the ground running and show his full potential in 2025.

Joining this talented roster is 14-year-old bLU cRU graduate Levi Townley, fresh off an incredible season on the international stage. After capturing the 85cc title at the 2024 FIM Junior Motocross World Championship in Heerde, The Netherlands, Townley made a seamless transition to the YZ125 and capped off his season with an impressive second-place finish at the YZ bLU cRU FIM Europe Cup SuperFinale during the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in early October.

Townley, the son of former MX2 World Champion Ben Townley, is set to relocate to France ahead of the 2025 EMX125 Presented by FMF Racing Championship, where he will prepare for his first European Championship campaign.

With this exciting mix of young talent, all competing aboard GYTR kitted YZ125s, the MJC Yamaha Official EMX125 team is set for an action-packed and promising 2025 season.

Thorsten Lentink
Yamaha Motor Europe MX Racing Specialist
"We're happy to continue into 2025 with the same three riders. These young talents were relatively new to the EMX125 class in 2024, but they demonstrated impressive potential. Our primary goal was for them to learn, gain experience, and grow, and they achieved just that. While injuries set us back at times, their overall progress was very positive. We’re confident they’ll use what they learned in 2024 to chase top results in 2025. Adding Levi Townley to the team is also very exciting. His win at the Junior Motocross World Championship on his YZ85 was special. We immediately saw his natural skill and potential and wanted to give him this opportunity to take the next step in his career with our Official EMX125 team. We’d also like to thank Yamaha Australia/New Zealand for their support, as well as the dedication of his father, Ben Townley, and Josh Coppins in New Zealand, who have given Levi an excellent start to his career. We know the move to France will be a big step for Levi, but we’re confident he’s ready, and we’ll ensure he, along with Dani, Mano, and Jarne, have all the tools necessary to succeed.”

The 2025 season will deliver a total of 20 rounds and will culminate with the prestigious Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations at Ironman Raceway, USA, from October 3rd to 5th.

The 2025 season kicks off with the MXGP of Argentina once again where the world's best riders will test their form but this time at a brand-new venue in Cordoba. As tradition, this event will also host the FIM Latin American Motocross Championship sole round, including the MX1 and MX2 classes.

From there the action heads to Cózar, Spain for the Grand Prix of Castilla La Mancha followed by a highly anticipated return to the historic Saint Jean d'Angely in France for the MXGP of Europe.

Italy will play a pivotal role early on with back-to-back races in Sardegna’s Riola Sardo and the picturesque Pietramurata for the MXGP of Trentino. Continuing the intense competition with Switzerland at Frauenfeld to mark the first triple-header of the season.

Then a yet-to-be-confirmed location in the beginning of May followed by a return to Spain in a location to be announced soon. The adrenaline continues in late May with another trio of races as the championship sweeps through France at the magnificent Ernee, Germany’s staple of Teutschenthal, and then Latvia’s famed Kegums circuit in early June.

Following a brief break, the series shifts to Indonesia for back-to-back events in Sumbawa and Lombok, igniting global excitement as the championship moves beyond European borders. The final leg of the European season wraps up in Arnhem, Netherlands, before the series ventures into its final international phase. Turkiye's Afyonkarahisar will welcome the riders in September, followed by exciting races in Shanghai, China, and, for the first time ever, in Darwin for the MXGP of Australia as the season races toward its thrilling conclusion.

The FIM Women’s Motocross World Championship will feature six rounds in 2025, beginning with the season opener in Sardegna at the Riola Sardo circuit, setting an exciting tone for the competition. From there, the WMX Championship will travel across Europe, with rounds in Spain, Germany, and the Netherlands in Arnhem, followed by the penultimate event in Turkey. The series will culminate in a grand finale at the MXGP of Australia in Darwin, where the WMX, MXGP, and MX2 classes will join together to cap off an unforgettable season.

Both series will begin with the second round of the season and the first European event in Cózar, Spain. The EMX125 category will conclude in Uddevalla, while the EMX250 finale will take place in Turkiye. On top of that the final rounds of EMX65 and EMX85 and the unique round of EMX2t will take place in Loket during the MXGP of Czech Republic while the sole round of EMXOpen will run at the MXGP of Flanders at Lommel.
