Team Switzerland Line-Up for Monster Energy FIM MXoN Revealed!

Switzerland is one of the first nations to announce its three-man line-up for the upcoming season highlight, the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Red Bud, USA!

Team manager Daniel Zollinger has been working hard, making contacts, holding talks and doing a lot of convincing.

The result is absolutely impressive, because the Swiss Federation FMS obviously liked his plans and ideas as well. The Motocross Commission has now nominated the following three riders who will represent the Swiss colours at the FIM Monster Energy Motocross of Nations on the last weekend in September:

  • Jeremy Seewer
  • Valentin Guillod
  • Kevin Brumann

All in all, team boss Zollinger has assembled a highly interesting trio in which the mixture of experience - Seewer and Guillod already competed in the 2018 MXoN at the same location in Red Bud, for example - and carefree youth could make for a promising mix. Since Guillod is also a specialist in both displacement classes and youngster Brumann recently showed an amazing performance on the "big" bike, this opens up completely new perspectives for the team boss in terms of team tactics.

In other words: Who exactly will start in which class could perhaps only be decided at very short notice. Practically, all three pilots are on Yamaha, which was certainly helpful in the planning phase and which Daniel Zollinger would like to underline once again with a heartfelt thank you to the blue teams involved. The official team presentation will take place, subject to reservation, at one of the following European Grand Prix.

MANTOVA (Italy) 26 September 2019 – As per tradition, the champions of the 74th edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations were presented with special ‘Champion’ rings to seal the deal on their incredible victory!

Team Italy’s Antonio Cairoli, Mattia Guadagnini and Alessandro Lupino were presented with the silver jewels by Infront Moto Racing CEO David Luongo at the winners press conference in Mantova, following the last race of the day.

These unique jewelleries are custom made to symbolise victory, each one engraved with the year and the location of the event, as a special keepsake for the riders to remember this triumph in the future.

The rings were designed and produced by the Italian company ‘PR Model’ which is headed by Mr. Telemaco Cane, a huge fan of motocross himself.  It was the perfect way to celebrate this year’s winners and mark the end of the 74th edition of the Monster Energy FIM Motocross of Nations in Mantova, Italy.
